to find us:
BY CAR
From
south:
There are two mainroads from Oslo to Trondheim - E6 or R3. The
main roads (E6 and R3) meet at Ulsberg, approximately 440 km
north of Oslo.
From Ulsberg to Berkåk, at E6; there are 11 km.
From Berkåk Rv 700 to Orkanger, then Rv 710 to Valset. From
here a ferry boat to Brekstad.
From north:
The North Fosen road, Rv 715 from Namdalseid to Krinsvatn.
From here Rv 710 to Brekstad.
An alternative is to take Rv 720 / 715 via Malm and Rissa or
Rv 755 / 715 via Mosvik and Leksvik to Krinsvatn.
From Trondheim:
Ferry boat from Flakk (Trondheim) to Rørvik, then Rv 715 to
Krinsvatn from here Rv 710 to Brekstad. You can also drive via
Orkanger and from here Rv 710 to Valset. From here a ferry
boat to Brekstad.
From
Brekstad to Rønsholmen
From Brekstad Fv.241 in the direction of Rønsholmen (8 km.)
The road are marked Storfosna, the seahouses are on your left
side when you come to the small village Rønsholmen
.
By Plane:
If you should like to go by plane, there are two alternatives:
The simle way is to go by Oslo airport Gardermoen (OSL)
From here you can travel with Air
Norway direct to Tronheim airport Ørland (OLA). The
airport laes 5 km from Rønsholmen. Take
notice, there are no flights on Saturdays.
You can olso go to
Trondheim airport Værnes(TRD), about 35 kilometers east of
Trondheim. From here you can travel by bus to Trondheim
city. Then you can go with a fast boat from the Pier-Terminal
to Brekstad (55min).
You can also rent a car at Værnes airport and go the
133 kilometers to Rønsholmen by car. Remember you have to
cross the fjord.
